An Bùi is a writer, community organizer, and facilitator who loves to embrace the complexities of her emotions through laughing and crying. Through her writing, she explores the lens of daughterhood, living in San José as a queer Việt artist, and navigating the grief of losing her younger brother. Social justice and spirituality are the pillars that guide and inform her work. She dreams about a world where care exists on a structural, community, and individual level. Her work has been featured on Autostraddle, QTViệt Cafe, and more. Instagram @nonymousbui

It is supposed to be the "Year of the Woman." Yet the celebration has taken a back seat to a pandemic and veiled by cries for social justice. How can we forget? We invite you to join our lecture with Artist Hadi Aghaee who will share his artworks exploring women's roles in society. The central message is to look twice at things we do not yet see at first glance. We also have a special performance with EJ Villanueva, a Woodwind Musician & Educator. http://hadiaghaeefineart.com/about.html https://www.instagram.com/ejvaleros/ http://www.ChopsticksAlleyArt
